M. V. Lomonosov (1711-1765) is an eminent statesman, organizer of science and popular education in Russia, scholar-encyclopaedist and poet, who laid down the foundations of the Russian literary language. The selection includes researches, essays and archival materials treating with life and work of M. V. Lomonosov, his works on the grammar of the Russian language, history and metallurgy, as well as his correspondence.
