The selection of researches, reference and statistic editions, cartography materials and archival documents reflects the history of development of the Amur Oblast territories and certain aspects of development of the region in the period of the end of the 19th – mid 20th century. The mini-collections also includes the current Statute of the region.

The selection, marking the Year of Spain in Russia and Russia in Spain, includes the materials on geography, history, public education in Spain in 19th century, and archival documents reflecting certain aspects of diplomatic and trade relations between Russian and Spain in early 20th century.

Kamchatka Krai: pages of history

Development of Kamchatka, the most remote Russian region, in 18th – the first half of 19th centuries is represented by travel notes, geographical and historical descriptions, fragments of newsreel of 1920s - 1930s; the selection also includes materials on Petropavlovsk defense of 1854 and the current Charter of the Kamchatka Krai.

Khabarovsk Krai: pages of history

The selection includes books on travels over the modern Khabarovsk Krai in the middle of 19th century, archival documents regarding transport issues and relations with Far East neighbors of Russia in early 20th century, and socio-economic and statistic materials of the Soviet age.

Nenets Autonomous Okrug: pages of history

The selection includes geographical, statistical, ethnographical and archival materials covering the period of the mid 19th century to the first quarter of the 20th century and providing information on the territory of the okrug, its administrative structure and life of the indigenous.

Russia – Italy: time travel

The presented researches, collected documents, travelers’ notes and photographs reveal geography, history and culture of Italy, the history of Russian-Italian diplomatic relations from the 16th century and with the Italian campaign of Suvorov in 1799.

Moscow Region: pages of history

The selection which includes official, statistic, topographic, cartographic and other materials, reflects particular aspects of life in the Moscow Province from ancient times to the early 20th century. The mini-collection also includes the current Charter of the Moscow Region.

M. V. Lomonosov – 300th birthday anniversary

M. V. Lomonosov (1711-1765) is an eminent statesman, organizer of science and popular education in Russia, scholar-encyclopaedist and poet, who laid down the foundations of the Russian literary language. The selection includes researches, essays and archival materials treating with life and work of M. V. Lomonosov, his works on the grammar of the Russian language, history and metallurgy, as well as his correspondence.

Novosibirsk region: pages of history

The selection includes books, periodicals, archival documents and graphic materials revealing various aspects (geographical, administrative and territorial, economical, etc.) of history of Novosibirsk region in the period of 18th – early 20th centuries and the current Statutes of Novosibirsk region.

Russia – Czech Republic: points of contact

During the European history the paths of two countries, Russia and Czech Republic, have repeatedly crossed. The selection includes research works, essays, official documents and photos which reveal certain aspects of life of the Czech Republic and its relations with Russia in the period of 13th - 21th centuries.
