The Presidential Library shares its experience with library specialists and teachers from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra

From April 16 to April 19, 2024, the Presidential Library holds training for specialists of cultural and educational organizations of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra on additional professional educational programs for advanced training “Innovative approaches in library and information activities based on the resources of the Presidential Library that have information and educational potential" and "Increasing the efficiency of the educational process based on the methodology of using digital resources of the Presidential Library".

On April 13, 2024, the head of the scientific examination department of the Presidential Library collection, Alexey Voronovich, as part of the educational program of the Russian Society “Znanie”, spoke to visitors to RUSSIA EXPO at VDNKh in Moscow. Showing documents from the collections of the Presidential Library, he spoke about the contribution our country has made to the exploration of outer space.

Cosmonautics Day held at the Presidential Library

On April 12, 2024, the Presidential Library hosted an annual conference dedicated to Cosmonautics Day. Traditionally, on this day, meetings are held with astronauts and representatives of the space industry, events, projects and technologies related to space are discussed. This year the event was held at the Presidential Library for the tenth time and was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Yuri Gagarin.

The Presidential Library marking the 170th anniversary of actress Maria Savina

For forty years Maria Gavrilovna Savina (1854–1915) shone on the stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. She devoted most of her life to the theater, living in the theater and for the theater. The Presidential Library's collections feature numerous documents, letters, biographical sketches and photographs of the actress, including the unique photo album “Honored Artist of the Imperial Russian Drama Troupe M. G. Savina. Thirty-five years on the Imperial stage" (1909).
