The collection is timed to coincide with the 215th anniversary of the birth of the Russian composer Mikhail Glinka, the first Russia classical composer, founder of the Russian national school of the world opera. The collection contains electronic copies of books, brochures, archive documents and visual materials focused on the composer’s life and work.

The collection dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Gogol – the classic writer of Russian literature, prosaist, dramatist, critic, and publicist, includes electronic copies of books, articles from periodicals, archival documents and visual materials, which contain information about the life and work of the writer, and texts of his writings.

The collection, timed to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet Russian writer, playwright and public figure Maxim Gorky (A. M. Peshkov) (1868-1936), includes digital copies of books, periodicals, archival documents and graphic materials devoted to his life and work, as well as texts of his own works of art, articles and memoirs.

The collection devoted to the centenary of the birth of Daniil Granin - classic writer of modern Russian literature, Honorary Citizen of St. Petersburg, laureate of literary and state awards, consists of photographic materials, which cast light on his public activities, photographs from the presentation of “A Stranger’s Diary” book, and a documentary film, in which the writer recalled past years paying particular attention to the wartime.

The collection, timed to the 220th anniversary of the birth of the Russian diplomat, poet, playwright and composer Alexander Griboyedov, includes digital copies of books, articles, archival documents and visual materials.
