Open lectures are filmed in the Presidential Library
From January 30, 2012 for five days the Presidential library will host educational lectures within the “Video lectures: “Knowledge about Russia” project. Video records of the lectures will be available for general public at the portal of the library and its electronic reading room.

The Presidential Library wished a Happy New Year to the children from hospice
On the eve of 2012 the employees of the Presidential Library visited the children’s hospice in the village of Olgino where they attended the charity soiree and concert for children. The guest of honor at the soiree was the beloved by children Russian Grandfather Frost from Veliky Ustyug who congratulated the public with the coming holiday.
A tour for journalists’ children around the Presidential Library
At the end of the year the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library invited the children of journalists of St. Petersburg mass media for a visit.
The 15th meeting of the Russian National Libraries Co-Operation Council took place in the Presidential Library
22 December 2011 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library hosted the 15th meeting of the Russian national libraries Co-operation Council. The heads and leading experts of the three libraries met together in order to define the areas of further joint activities.
Regional Center of the Presidential Library opened in the Amur Region
21 December 2011 in Blagoveshchensk was signed a Co-operation Agreement between the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library and the N. N. Muravyov-Amursky Amur Regional Scientific Library. On the same day in the city opened the Regional Center of access to the Presidential Library information resources.
