One more step on the way of creation of the Presidential Library regional network
December 10, 2010 a delegation from the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library arrived to Volgograd Oblast. During the visit the members of the delegation had working meetings with the heads of Volgograd regional local history museum and the State History and Memorial culture preserve ‘Stalingrad battle’.
Regular meeting of the National Libraries Cooperation Council took place in Moscow
December 9 in the building of the Russian State Library, Moscow, took place the 14th meeting of the Russian Federation National Libraries Cooperation Council: the National Library of Russia, the Russian State Library and the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.
Academic Council set up at the Presidential Library
The first meeting of the Academic Council of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library was held on November 30 2010. Its primary objective is to facilitate co-operation between the Presidential Library and other organizations in the areas of culture, science, and education.
The Presidential library opened its reading room in the capital of Belarus
On November 23 2010 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library opened its electronic reading room in the capital of Belarus. The event marked the opening of the Russian Center of Science and Culture of Rossotrudnichestvo (the Federal Agency on the CIS, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation) in Belarus.
Presidential Library signs Cooperation Agreement with Ryazan Oblast
On November 22 2010 in Ryazan the Director General of the Presidential Library A.P. Vershinin and Ryazan Oblast Governor O.I. Kovalyov signed a Cooperation Agreement on foundation of the regional center of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.
Presidential Library hosts sessions of Heads of CIS Governments, EurAsEC and Customs Union
On November 19 2010 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library hosted meetings of the Council of Heads of Governments of CIS member states, the Supreme Body of the Customs Union, the EurAsEC Interstate Council and discussions of heads of delegations of CIS Council and EurAsEC with participation of the Chairman of the RF Government V.V. Putin.
“St. Petersburg Quays” Festival kicked off at the Presidential Library
The main performance of the American tenor on November 12 2010 – is the first public concert at building of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library. This concert gave a start to the festival called “St. Petersburg Quays”.
Presidential Library and the National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea sign Memorandum of Cooperation
On November 10 2010 in Seoul during the visit of the President of Russia to the Republic of Korea the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library and the National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea signed Memorandum of Cooperation.

On November 9 2010 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential library held a solemn award ceremony of winners of the International photo contest “Foreign View”.

On November 8 2010 the delegation of the Presidential Library, headed by its Director General A.P. Vershinin, arrived in Seoul in order to take part in the work of the Civil Society Forum called “Dialogue: Russia – Republic of Korea”.
