Fifth International Film Festival “The World of Knowledge” opened at the Presidential library
The Fifth International Film Festival of popular-science film “The World of Knowledge”, which aims to revive interest to the popular-science film, was mounted at the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library on November 1 2010.

Delegation of the Bavarian State Library visited the Presidential Library
On October 13-14 2010 the delegation of the Bavarian State Library paid a visit to the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library. The goal of the visit was familiarization with the work of the Presidential Library and holding a joint working meeting focused on further cooperation.

The Presidential library opened its reading room in Beijing
On September 27 2010 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential library opened its first electronic reading room abroad in Beijing. The event was timed to the opening of the Russian cultural center of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency on the CIS, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation) in China.

On September 23 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library held a round table titled “New Information Technologies and bibliography practices at libraries”.
Eurasia Library Assembly in the Presidential Library
September 22, 2010 in the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library was held the 12th general meeting of the Eurasia Library Assembly. The meetings are held annually and set up the strategy for cooperation between libraries in the post-Soviet area.
