Historians and journalists in the Presidential library will discuss the "country house issue" and discover unknown pages of the tragedy in the Ipatiev House

July 19, 2018 at 12:00 the Presidential Library will host teleconference dedicated to the presentation of the July issue of the popular science and history magazine “Rodina”. This meeting will unite writers, historians, journalists from different regions of the country - St. Petersburg, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Yalta and others.

One of the topics proposed for discussion is "The Summer House as a Mirror of the Russian Revolution, Economy and Literature". Famous scholars will talk about country houses of Pushkin, Stalin, Kirov and take part in the discussion: what were country houses for the citizens of pre-revolutionary Russia and Soviet citizens. The second topic for the discussion will be documents confirming the "German trail" of the tragedy in the Ipatiev House. Could the Germans save the royal family? The answer to this question will be given by employees of the magazine "Rodina" and guests of the Presidential Library.

Accreditation for media representatives is available until 17:00, July 18, 2018.

Please, note, that the entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only upon prior request and upon showing a passport: participants and guests of the event go through entrance № 1, representatives of the media go through entrance № 2.
