University traditions of higher historical education to be considered in the Presidential Library

"History of the St. Petersburg University in Virtual Space" project to be presented in the Presidential Library within the video lecture "University traditions of higher historical education in St. Petersburg and the Far East" from the "Knowledge of Russia" cycle. The event will be held on September 19, 2018 at 10:00 and will be broadcasted live on the Presidential Library portal in the section "Live broadcast".

Participants of the video lecture will learn about the origins and stages of the development of higher historical education in the Far East of Russia, which this year celebrates the centenary, its present and future. In addition, a report on the theme "Higher Historical Education Development at the St. Petersburg State University" will be delivered.

The video lecture is held at the initiative of the Far Eastern Federal University in the framework of the implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Presidential Library and the Association of Leading Russian Universities. Students of humanitarian directions of universities of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region will participate in the event, students from other regions of Russia will join the video lecture via the video-conferencing.

Accreditation of media representatives is available until 12:00, September 18, 2018.

Please, note, that to enter the Presidential Library you need to submit advance notice and show your passport: participants and guests of the event go through entrance № 1, media representatives go through entrance № 2.
