The Presidential Library together with the Volgograd Regional Library run a videoconference dedicated to the Year of Theater in Russia

On March 27, 2019 at 10:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library together with the Gorky Volgograd Regional Universal Research Library will run an interregional research and practical videoconference "National Theater: the Past and the Present", dedicated to the Year of Theater in Russia.

The event will be broadcast live on the portal of the Presidential Library and via VKontakte social network in the official group of the institution.

The purpose of the event is to increase the level of awareness of the Russian youth about the history of the development of dramatic art and to increase interest in the national culture as a whole.

The main idea of ​​the videoconference is to present in the addresses of the participants the brightest events from the history of dramatic art in our country and the most significant achievements of the national theater in the socio-cultural aspect.

Among the planned topics for discussion: "The history of dramatic art: events, facts, people"; "The influence of history on the development of the theatre"; "The history of theater in the historical and cultural readings"; "Theater in the socio-cultural context of time"; "Education by the theatre and in the theater: ancient pedagogy of the stage"; "Theater in the city and the city in the theater: a single cultural space"; "The stage in the context of the development of the region"; "Advanced technology in the theatre".

The leaders and employees of cultural institutions, teachers, representatives of public organizations, students and schoolchildren are invited to participate in the videoconference.

Requirements for materials:

Abstracts of reports should be submitted to Microsoft Word;

Figures should be presented in a separate file.

Sheet size - A4. Margins - 2.0 cm. Line spacing - 1.5 (one and a half). Font - Times New Roman, size - 14 pt. The volume of materials - up to 8 pages.

The organizing committee reserves the right to edit and cut the submitted texts.
