The Presidential Library hosts Energy Conference

The VI scientific and practical conference "Distributed Generation - 2019. Distributed generation as the basis for the modernization of energy" will be held in the Presidential library on April 11, 2019. The focus is the consolidation of the efforts of the enterprises of the energy complex and the mining companies of Russia with the aim of the widespread introduction of distributed generation technologies based on local energy sources and renewable resources. The event will begin at 10:00 Moscow time.

The conference participants are energy specialists, representatives of companies-manufacturers of generating equipment, the mining and oil and gas industries, heavy industry, scientists from leading technical universities of Russia, deputies of the State Duma, representatives of relevant ministries and regional bodies.

The main topics to be discussed at the conference will be the experience of the leaders of the extractive industry in the application of distributed generation technologies, the own generation of industrial enterprises as a tool to reduce production costs and reduce risks, reduce the costs of federal and regional budgets for energy supply by introducing advanced technologies in the field of remote areas and in the Arctic, projects in the field of housing and communal services and infrastructure, implementation of projects at landfill sites.

Participation in the “Distributed Generation - 2019. Distributed generation as the basis for the modernization of the energy” conference of the State Duma deputies of the Russian Federation is of paramount importance for the further improvement of the legislative framework, which is necessary for the “energy transition” and the large-scale development of distributed energy.
