The Presidential Library invites for an interesting weekend

13 July 2019

In summer 2019, the Presidential Library welcomes to take part in weekend activities: in July and August, a cycle of meetings will be held at a historic building on Senate Square, 3, devoted to a variety of topics: history, diplomacy, sports and others.

The first event will take place on July 13 and will begin at 12:00. It will be a cooking class "From the Tsar's table to the Presidential cuisine" prepared jointly with the Kremlyovsky food production facility.

The attendees of the event will learn a lot of new and interesting things about the historical evolution of the cuisine of the first person of the state, get familiar with numerous materials on this subject, which are represented in the Presidential Library’s collections, and also try to cook the most simple dishes. Culinary mentors will be professionals in their field - cooks of the Kremlyovsky food production facility. A pleasant memento will be reprints of beautifully decorated menus from the Presidential Library’s collections: the art menu during the coronation of Alexander II, the dinner menu in honor of the coronation of Nikolai Alexandrovich and Alexandra Feodorovna on May 23, 1896, as well as the lunch menu of the 4th Life-Guard Imperial Family Regiment and others.
