They are devoted to prose works, Pushkin’s work on historical works, the poet’s communication with the historiographer Nikolai Karamzin and other issues. For the first time, new forms of performances will be presented at the webinar: literary and musical composition, theatrical reading, and romances based on poetry.

The participants of the event will recall Pushkin’s visit to different regions of Russia, however, special attention will be paid to the poet’s stay in the southern exile, since in 2020 this historical event will mark 200 years. The Presidential Library prepared a video clip based on materials from the Earth and Sea Foundation: a memory of. Pushkin’s southern exile”. The book of Peter Ivanovich Bartenev Pushkin in Southern Russia, available on the Presidential Library’s portal, touches upon very interesting recollections of this period.

Another anniversary date is the 190th anniversary of the Boldino autumn of 1830. Participants of the event will be introduced to the film by A. Belousov and Yu. Nemtsov “Invitation to Boldino”, which became the nominee of the XII open All-Russian festival of documentaries “Salt of the Earth”.

The Presidential Library’s collections contain a large number of publications telling about the life and work of the poet, some of which are available in the electronic collection Alexander Pushkin (1799–1837).
