The Presidential Library’s portal provides access to the concert dedicated to Ivan Bunin

March 16, 2020 at 19:00 the Presidential Library’s portal in Live broadcasts section, in the official group on the VKontakte social network and on the institution’s YouTube channel will provide a live broadcast of the concert “I thank you for all, God…”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Ivan Bunin’s birth.

The event, dedicated to the anniversary of the first Russian Nobel Prize winner in literature, will be held in the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center (St. Petersburg, Nevsky Prospekt, 65).

The concert will feature the vocal and instrumental compositions of the young Petersburg composer Oleg Pustynnikov on poetry and prose of “the best stylist of the era”, as Maxim Gorky called Bunin. The Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center and the Planet of Music Publishing House will also present a collection of Oleg Pustynnikov’s romances to poems by Ivan. Bunin.

Performers are laureates of international and all-Russian competitions: Olga Vasilyeva (soprano), soloist of the Music Hall and "Looking Glass" Children's Musical Theatre (Zazerkalie) theaters; Roman Arndt (tenor), soloist of the Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky and the “Looking-Glass” Theaters; Vladimir Kazakov (baritone), soloist of the Petersburg Concert and the St. Petersburg Opera Theater; Dmitry Knyazev (bass), soloist of the Concert Choir of St. Petersburg, as well as the Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Theaters; Natalia Shabalina (reader), actress of the theater "Vadim Maksimov Theater Laboratory".
