The Presidential Library's portal to provide online broadcastings spotlighting the history of the national football

The Presidential Library’s portal from Monday to Friday in Live broadcasts section provides broadcasting of films, video lectures and tours prepared by the Presidential Library, as well as by leading film studios of the country.

In accordance with the broadcast program, on September 24, the institution's portal will provide video materials about the origin and development of national football, as well as its founder Georges Duperrone. Video lectures within the series "Leningrad-Petersburg - Sports Capital" mark the first football match in Russia, which took place on September 24, 1893. Its participants were Petersburg athletes and the "Sport" team.

Also, this week, the Presidential Library's portal submits broadcastings of films that allow finding out little-known facts about the Russian army during the reign of Catherine II and the amazing personality of Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov and his military tactics, which was based on the ability to defeat the surrounding circumstances and own persistence; visiting the Church of the Savior on Nereditsa in Novgorod Region and watching the restoration of the paintings from ancient temples.
