Films, webinars and video lectures available online on the Presidential Library’s portal

The Presidential Library’s portal from Monday to Friday in Live broadcasts section provides broadcasting of films, video lectures and tours prepared by the Presidential Library, as well as by leading film studios of the country.

In accordance with the broadcast schedule, in the week from July 5 to July 9, 2021, users will be able to learn about the reign of Catherine II, recall the glorious victories of the Russian army under the command of Peter I in the Great Northern War and its general battle - the Battle of Poltava, study the eastern issue in the politics of Nicholas I and learn about the materials from the Presidential Library’s collections related to the life and career of Gavrila Derzhavin.

Without leaving home, everyone has opportunity to remotely visit the Museum of the First World War, which is open in the building of the War Chamber, which is part of the Tsarskoe Selo State Museum and Heritage Site.  

On July 9, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the battle for the liberation of Leningrad in 1941, a video lecture About War and Victory in the Language of a Book, based on the work of the poet Olga Bergholz and The Siege Book by Daniil Granin and Ales Adamovich, will be shown online.
