The Presidential Library's master class to tell about the changes in the world of photography

July 12, 2021, at 16:00, the Presidential Library (Saint-Petersburg, 3 Senate Square) will hold a master class entitled "How the world of photography has changed within ten years?" as part of the XI Foreign View International Annual Multimedia Contest.

The event is timed to coincide with International Photographers' Day - the annual professional holiday of those whose job is to capture the most significant moments of our life and the beauty of the world around us.

The master class will be hosted by a professional Saint-Petersburg photographer Dmitry Taiga, who works both in portrait and advertising business projects.

The event will spotlight the impact of Instagram on the development of photography in general and professional photography in particular. Dmitry Taiga will also reveal the secrets of inspiration of foreign photographers and allow participants to find an answer to the question: why do their works impress us so much?

Dmitry Taiga's master class will be the first in a series of joint events of the Presidential Library and the Yarkiy Fotomarket, a permanent partner of the institution, which supports the Foreign View International Annual Multimedia Contest this year.

The workshop is open to anyone. The event's broadcasting will be available on the Presidential Library's official page, in the VKontakte social network, as well as in the group of the Foreign View Contest

 

Accreditation of media representatives is until 11:00 July 9, 2021.

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.

We draw the attention of the media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.

In order to reduce the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the use of personal protective equipment during the event is mandatory for all attendees.
