Films and video lectures available on the Presidential Library’s portal online

The Presidential Library’s portal from Monday to Friday in Live broadcasts section provides broadcasting of films, video lectures and tours prepared by the Presidential Library, as well as by leading film studios of the country.

In accordance with the broadcast program, from September 13-17, each user has the opportunity to visit the personal library of the head of state - the Library of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The film, prepared by the specialists of the Presidential Library, Personal Library of the President of the Russian Federation, made it possible to capture the large-scale activities and specifics of this most important state unit. Its collections involve more than two million depository items: Russian and foreign books, magazines, newspapers, official documents and electronic publications. The authors of the film tell about the main exhibit stored in the personal library of the President - the inaugural copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The publications donated to the President of Russia, articles and books dedicated to the head of state, publications of his speeches are presented separately. The library of the official residence of the President is also used for representative purposes. It hosts meetings of the head of state with scientists, writers, representatives of the public, which is captured in the Presidential Library’s film.

The film I Appeal to President, which will also be shown on the portal, will provide a unified information space for working with appeals to the President of the Russian Federation, about the activities of the Presidential Administration for handling appeals, about the three-level system of the Reception of the President of the Russian Federation (receptions in the centers of federal districts, reception in the constituent entities of Russia, terminals of the electronic reception).

Without leaving home, it is now possible to take a video tour of the exhibition Glorious Year of the People's War, prepared by the Presidential Library marking the 200th anniversary of the victory in the war with Napoleon. Special attention is paid to the exhibits: archival documents, illustrated publications, popular prints, Russian and French cartoons.

The users also have opportunity to examine unique fragments of newsreels, depicting the founder of modern cosmonautics and rocket technology, Konstantin Eduardovich Tsiolkovsky as well as a video lecture on the development of electoral law in the Russian Federation.
