Representatives from cultural, scientific, and educational organizations share their experiences of working with regions of Russia at Academic Council of Presidential Library
On December 6, 2024, at 10:00, the 23rd meeting of the Academic Council, a permanent collegial advisory body of the library, will take place in the Presidential Library. The event will take place both in person and remotely.
The Academic Council plans to discuss at the meeting the experience of federal cultural, scientific and educational organizations in developing ties with regions of the Russian Federation and the prospects for implementing joint scientific, educational, and cultural projects.
Yuri Nosov, Director General and Chairman of the Academic Council of the Presidential Library, will make a presentation.
According to the agenda for the meeting, several speakers have been scheduled to present. Pavel Kuzmin, the General Director of the Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature; Alexey Sirenov, the Director of the St. Petersburg Institute of History at the Russian Academy of Sciences; and Alexander Turgaev, the Rector of St. Petersburg's State Institute of Culture.
The Director of the State Public Historical Library of Russia, Mikhail Afanasyev, will provide information about the coordination of work plans between the Presidential Library and the State Public Historical Library, as well as other interested parties, regarding the implementation of Fundamentals of State Policy in the Field of Historical Education.
The Academic Council provides advisory assistance for the development of the Presidential Library and its cooperation with other cultural, scientific, educational, and enlightening institutions. Many leading organizations in these fields are represented on the Council. The 23rd meeting of the Council will be held at Senate Square, 3 in St. Petersburg.

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.
We draw the attention of the media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.
Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport through entrance № 2.
