International photo project "We accuse" to be opened in Moscow

On December 4th, 2024, the grand opening of the international photo project We Accuse will be held in Moscow.

The project will be launched simultaneously at two locations - the central building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of Russian Federation.

We Accuse is an exceptional in Russia international joint project, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the magazine New Regions of Russia, and the Presidential Library.

The photo project presents photographs taken by the editor-in-chief of the magazine New Regions of Russia, Sergey Venyavsky, a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, in the period from May 2022 to September 2024, in the area of the special military operation, as well as in the border regions of Russia: Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Rostov, Kursk, and Belgorod.

The main objectives of the project are to provide visual evidence of the crimes committed by the Kiev regime against civilians in the Russian Federation. It aims to allow Russian citizens and the global community to witness firsthand the atrocities of neo-Nazism in the 21st century. The project also seeks to preserve the truth about recent events for future generations.

The We Accuse photo exhibition will be showcased throughout 2025, the year marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition will take place in various cities across Russia, including those in the newly reintegrated territories such as Mariupol, Berdyansk, and Melitopol in Zaporozhye region, as well as in border towns like Kursk, Belgorod, and Rostov-on-Don. Additionally, exhibitions will be held in Serbia and other friendly countries.

The leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Administrative Directorate of the President of Russia, Ambassador-at-Large on the Kiev Regime’s War Crimes, Rodion Miroshnik; the Director General of the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President and Chairman of the St. Petersburg Regional Branch of the Russian Military Historical Society, Yuri Nosov; the Editor-in-chief of the magazine New Regions of Russia, a member of Union of Writers of Russia Sergey Venyavsky; Executive Director of the Russian Military Historical Society, Vitaly Martynyuk; and Secretary of the Union of Writers of Russia, Editor-in-chief of the Veche Publishing house Sergey Dmitriev; as well as representatives from state and public organizations in Moscow; heads of administrations, and official representatives from the Leningrad, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Lugansk, Kursk, Belgorod, and Rostov regions have expressed their condolences.

On the same day, December 4th, the international photo project We Accuse is presented online on the Presidential Library's portal. Other photographs by Sergei Venyavsky, which are dedicated to the reunified territories, as well as the electronic version of the first issue of New Regions of Russia magazine are also available on the portal.

The event will take place at the Reserve Center of the Presidential Library, located at Slavyanskaya Square, b. 4, 1 in Moscow. The event starts at 16:00.
