Presidential Library hosts documentary photo exhibition entitled "New Regions of Russia"
From September 30 to October 31, 2025 Presidential Library located in St. Petersburg holds the grand opening of the documentary photo exhibition "New Regions of Russia."
The exhibition, timed to coincide with the third anniversary of the official entry of Donbass and Novorossiya into the Russian Federation (September 30, 2022), was prepared by Sergey Venyavsky, editor-in-chief of the magazine New Regions of Russia, member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, photojournalist, and journalists from the Donbass and Novorossiya news agencies.
The exhibition materials, in Russian and English, tell the story of the reunited territories and their present, including through photographs of contemporary life in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The presentation of the exhibition "New Regions of Russia" took place on September 22, 2025, in Moscow at the Reception House of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in the presence of Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
On the Presidential Library portal, you can view other photographs by Sergey Venyavsky, editor-in-chief of the magazine New Regions of Russia, member of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation, and photojournalist, who began working in the special military operation zone in February 2022 and traveled through all the liberated territories from Donetsk to Kherson.
