The Presidential Library welcomes to the conference on legal issues of access to information

13 April 2012 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential library with participation of the Association of Lawyers of Russia is hosting the annual conference on the issues of legal regulation in electronic environment. The conference subject is “The right for information access: opportunities and restrictions in electronic environment”.

The attendees of the theoretical and practical conference will consider theoretical and practical issues of implementation and improvement of legislation in the field of provision of access to socially significant information (state-legal, scientific and educational, cultural and instructive).

After the plenary session the work will continue in two subgroups:

- Electronic government and access to information about the activities of state authorities;

- Access to scientific and education, cultural and instructive, and mass information in electronic environment.  

The conference is welcoming government bodies representatives, scholars, specialists from different organizations, as well as social representatives interested in range of problems of legal regulation in the field of information. The conference will be broadcasted live at the Presidential library portal. As a result of the event, a collection of scientific works will be created.

To attend the conference as a speaker, please submit your application to be considered before March 31, 2012; as a listener – before April 8, 2012 to: econference @prlib.ru. It is possible to take part in the sessions through video conferencing.
