The Presidential Library will present the history of development of the Far Eastern territories of Russia

On September 8, 2017, at 12 pm, the Presidential Library basing on the results of the III Eastern Economic Forum and within the framework of the 50th anniversary of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service will conduct a presentation of the electronic collection of sources related to the “Point of Attraction — the Russian Far East” (built to assist forum), as well as the regional network, educational and cultural projects of the Presidential Library. The electronic materials of the collection will be handed out to the institutions of culture and education of Primorsky Krai.

The rector of the university Tatyana Terentiyeva, Deputy Director General (Executive Secretary) of the Presidential Library Valentin Valentinovich Sidorin, teachers and students of the university, heads of government bodies, cultural and educational institutions, archives of Primorsky Krai, and the journalists will attend the event.

Within the framework of cooperation of the Presidential Library and Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service it is planned to open a remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, which will allow students and university faculty professors to access more than 550,000 rare books, archival documents and photographs.
