Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture

To mark the centenary of the foundation of Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture (formerly known as the institute) the Presidential Library has built up a special collection, which illustrates the history of the university. It includes unique archival and visual materials provided by the educational institution: charter documents and orders concerning the university; plans and results of the research work; lists of graduates and job placement materials; personal files of the staff, teachers and heads of the university as from 1918; the 1930s-1950s registers of university buildings in Millionnaya Street and Solyanoy Lane; official letters of commendation given to the university for its cultural and educational work; photographs of students and the teaching staff, as well as bills and advertisements of concerts and cultural events staged at the university in different times.
