Konstantin Pobedonostsev (1827–1907)

The collection featuring a great statesman, legal scholar, chief procurator of the Holy Synod, founder of the system of parochial schools and non-classical secondary schools in Russia, K. P. Pobedonostsev includes 154 documents. Those are mainly the materials from the fond № 1574 held by the Russian State Historical Archive: diaries, memos, drafts, correspondence, biographic materials. The collection also contains the most loyal reports of K. P. Pobedonostsev in office of the chief procurator and his scientific works.

The collection will be useful to students of secondary and higher educational institutions, teachers and professors, as well as historians and lawyers.
