History of Russia: The exhibition "Armament and Armor of Russian Warriors of the X-XVII centuries" in Veliky Novgorod

From June 1, 2018 in the White Tower of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve, the exhibition "Armament and Armor of Russian Warriors of the X-XVII centuries" is opened.

The exhibition features more than 150 exhibits - the reconstruction of the armor and weapons of the warriors of Prince Vladimir, the host of Alexander Nevsky’s militia, the warrior of the heavy boyar cavalry of Dmitry Donskoy and the troops of Ivan III, the commander of the Russian local cavalry and the Russian raider. All items are recreated by members of the Tula City Youth Club of historical reconstruction and fencing on real historical patterns and are often the only reconstructions in our country.
