Marking FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia: Football-themed trains launched in the Moscow metro

Ten football-themed trains are launched in the Moscow metro in celebration of FIFA World Cup. The trains will be running on Sokolnicheskaya and Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya lines for 90 days.

“On 14 June, two trains covered with FIFA football graphics began running on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line. The face side of the carriages carries information about 11 cities of Russia hosting the matches. Inside, passengers will feel like footballers on a football pitch and will have a chance to learn popular and little known facts about world football and also learn greetings in different languages,” said Roman Latypov, First Deputy Head of the Moscow Metro for Strategic Development and Customer Service.
