Memory of Russia: «The Siege in the drawings of the artist-architect Sergei Svetlitsky» exhibition underway in St. Petersburg

A new exhibition "The Siege in the drawings of the artist-architect Sergei Svetlitsky" opened on June 22, 2018 in the Memorial Hall of the Museum-Diorama «Breakthrough of the Siege of Leningrad».

The photo exhibition of drawings of Sergei Svetlitsky, the I. Repin Institute of Arts graduate, the member of the USSR Union of Architects, showcases a series of artist’s drawings, that were created in the besieged Leningrad between 1941 and 1942 and donated by the artist to the "Breakthrough of the Siege of Leningrad" Museum in 1986.

Svetlitsky's works are on display in the Museum of Defense and Siege of Leningrad, the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the Central Railway Museum, the Yaroslavl State Museum of History, Architecture and Art and in other collections.

The photo exhibition is underway until July 30, 2018.
