30 August 2018

The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has appointed Alexander Vershinin Director-General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “The National Library of Russia”. The relevant resolution was released on the official legal information portal on Wednesday.

Alexander Vershinin takes up his post as Director-General instead of Alexander Visly, dismissed by the resolution of the Prime Minister, which is also available on the official legal information portal.

“To appoint Alexander Pavlovich Vershinin Director-General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “The National Library of Russia” for the term of five years”, – the document reads.

It is worth nothing, that since May 27, 2009 and until recent time Alexander Vershinin had held the position of Director-General of the Presidential Library.
