History of Russia: Exhibition “Russian Cavalry during the Napoleonic Wars” from the Borodino Museum-Reserve collections currently underway in Rostov Region

From October 12 until December 9, 2018 the Sholokhov Center, M. A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve (Rostov Region) is holding the exhibition “Russian Cavalry during the Napoleonic Wars” from the collections of the State Borodino Military and Historical Museum-Reserve. The exhibition casts light on the historical period at the turn of 18th-19th cc. (1796-1815), known as the Napoleonic wars. Residents and guests of Rostov-on-Don will have an opportunity to learn about the events of that glorious epoch and study the exhibits from the rich collection of the Borodino Museum. The museum, that was founded by Emperor Nicholas I at the battlefield, is going to celebrate the 180th anniversary of its foundation this year.
