Marking the Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: Don State Public Library staged the exhibition “It Guides the Mind and Heals the Heart”

The Don State Public Library (Rostov-on-Don) presents the exhibition “It Guides the Mind and Heals the Heart”. The display, which is opened in the exhibition hall, was prepared by the library staff as part of the project “Literature in the Foreground” timed to coincide with the Year of Theatre in Russia. It features works of the Russian and world literature, which formed the basis of plays, operas and ballets of theatrical seasons of the Imperial theatres staged from mid. 19th c. to the  early 20th c.
