Memory of Russia: Exhibition “Museum and War. The Fate of the Collections. Marking the 75th Anniversary of Liberation of Novgorod from Nazi Invaders” to open in Novgorod Kremlin

The exhibition “Museum and War. The Fate of the Collections. Marking the 75th Anniversary of Liberation of Novgorod from the Nazi Invaders" is opening on January 18, 2019 in the Exhibition Hall of the Novgorod Museum (Main Building).

About 50 exhibits from the collection of the Novgorod Museum and the Cathedral of Saint Sophia are on display. There are traces of the dramatic events of those days on many of them - markings made by the invaders before moving the items from Novgorod. The exhibition will run until March 12.
