The Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: “Impresario. Dance Trajectory” display of costumes mounted in Bakhrushin Museum in Moscow

The Bakhrushin Theatre Museum (Moscow) has opened an exhibition “Impresario. Dance Trajectory” from Sergey Danilyan’s collection.

The exposition showcases over 50 costumes for ballets, including costumes for Alexey Ratmansky’s “Pierrot Lunaire”, costumes and props for Vladimir Varnava’s “Isadora”, a costume of Nikolay Tsiskaridze for the Roland Petit’s production “Carmen. Solo”, as well as sketches, posters and rare photographs from archives of Ardani Artists, the St. Petersburg State Museum of Theatre and Music, the Bolshoi Theatre and the Mariinsky Theatre.

The exhibition in the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum will be open until March 31, 2019.
