As part of the XI Moscow International Biennale “Fashion and Style in Photography 2019” Multimedia Art Museum (Moscow) presents “Soviet Daily Life. The 1930s–1960s” exhibition of a prominent Soviet photographer Mikhail Grachev.

As a young man Mikhail Grachev (1916–2009) took up photography. He dedicated his whole life to photojournalism and had worked in the printing industry for more than forty years. His works became visual symbols of the first five-year plans, the Great Patriotic War, post-war construction projects and entered the ‘treasury’ of Soviet and world photography.
