History and Culture: The Museum of the History of Religion in St. Petersburg presents the exhibition “Ancient World in Works of Masters of 20th and 21st Centuries”

The exhibition “Ancient World in Works of Masters of 20th and 21st Centuries” will be open in the Museum of the History of Religion in St. Petersburg until July 14, 2019.

The exhibition illustrates an enduring interest of the European civilization in the culture and art of the ancient world. It showcases works of the Russian and European contemporary art inspired by the antiquity. The exhibition continues the “Antiquity Through Centuries” exhibition project (2016), which featured works created by masters of the 17th – 19th centuries.
