Internet and Culture: The National Library of Russia presents Solovetsky Monastery Library online resource

A presentation of the Solovetsky Monastery Library online resource will take place in the Main Building of the National Library of Russia (St. Petersburg) on May 21, 2019 - ahead of the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture.

The virtual version of the famous Solovetsky Library provides wide access to the study of the precious handwritten heritage of Russia. The collection features 1482 handwritten books dating from 14th–19th centuries, including dozens of unique manuscripts.
