IT and Culture: The Russian Museum opens its virtual branch in Abakan

The ninth virtual branch of the Russian Museum in the Siberian Federal District will be opened on August 14, 2019 in Abakan, the capital city of the Republic of Khakassia at the Kyzlasov National Local History Museum.

The collection housed in the Russian Museum presents a thousand year history of the national fine arts. Visitors to the virtual branch - adults and children - have an opportunity to study the digital resources based on its collection and learn about famous masterpieces and their creators, the imperial Russian Museum, the many faces of St. Petersburg, the history and culture of Russia.
