History and Culture: Exhibition “The Manuscript Collection of the Alexander Pushkin State Museum” to open in Moscow

The exhibition “The Manuscript Collection of the Alexander Pushkin State Museum. “My Friends, Keep This Manuscript…” opens on December 13, 2019 at the Alexander Pushkin State Museum in Moscow.

The Alexander Pushkin State Museum is home to rich collections, and particularly special among them is a collection of manuscripts. It contains letters of the poet’s contemporaries, handwritten albums, diaries, notebooks of the late 18th - first half of the 19th century, handwritten copies of works by Alexander Pushkin, Alexander Griboyedov, Alexander Radishchev, Gavrila Derzhavin, Vasily Zhukovsky, Kondraty Ryleyev, Konstantin Batyushkov.
