A collection of survey socio-economic atlases of the USSR has been published on the Geoportal of the Russian Geographical Society. Maps were published by the Cartographic Department of the Geodetic Committee and the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the National Economy of the Soviet Union at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. This is a kind of cartographic portrait of Russia on the eve of the Great Turn.
