Internet and Culture: “Discover Moscow” Internet portal launched a new virtual tour, marking the 130th anniversary of Boris Pasternak

The “Discover Moscow” Internet portal keeps on involving users into virtual tours through places and sights related to famous people's life and work. The new online guide is devoted to Boris Pasternak - the poet, writer, and translator, Nobel Prize winner in literature. The tour is marking the 130th anniversary of the writer's birth.

A Boris Pasternak Moscow tour will take about two hours. The 11 km long route includes eight places in the city center, which still keep the memory of the famous writer. During the walk, users will learn interesting facts from the biography of Boris Pasternak and people from the writer's environment. Many of them became prototypes of the heroes of his oeuvre, including the novel "Doctor Zhivago" awarded by the Nobel Prize.
