On February 10, 2020, “75 Years of the UN: A Common Future by Common Forces” anniversary exhibition was opened at the Russian State Library. It marks the anniversary of the United Nations (UN) and was prepared together with the UN Information Center in Moscow.

The exhibition features the Intergovernmental organization activities from its foundation to the present, focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The exposition opens with the Charter of the United Nations and rare publications about the creation of this document.

Other rare publications are presented by the first edition of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (New York, 1948), and the Declaration of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, where the concept of “sustainable development” was mentioned for the first time.

There is also the UN Millennium Declaration, adopted by the General Assembly on September 8, 2000, which is one of the fundamental documents of the new millennium.
