Marking the 75th Anniversary of the Great Victory: “Kultura.RF” portal presented a special project about the Victory Museum

Marking the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the "Kultura.RF" portal prepared a guide to the Victory Museum and provides its virtual tour. The main attention is paid to a new exposition "Feat of the People", which covers the area of ​​3 000 square meters. Users of the "Kultura.RF" portal will be the first visitors to the new museum space without leaving home.

Museum offers 14 three-dimensional locations devoted to various episodes of World War II, which are reconstructed in real size. Artists restored the walls of the besieged Brest Fortress, the devastated streets of occupied Soviet cities, the gates of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, a secret radio studio in which Yuri Levitan read the reports of the Soviet Information Bureau and the office of the Supreme Commander Joseph Stalin. There are also scenes of the evacuation of enterprises and cultural property that were moved to the east of the country during the war, as well as the work of scientists on new discoveries.

The exposition closes with a 3D panorama "Battle for Berlin. The Feat of Standard-bearers". It features a city street in ruins with tanks and missile shells, and houses in the fire.

Besides, it is possible to learn in detail about the "Hall of Generals" and the "Hall of Glory", an outdoor exposition of military equipment, a diorama complex, a memorial park, and monuments.
