Territory of Russia: Outdoor exhibition of the photo project "Living Seas of the Russian Arctic" presented in Moscow

On September 14, 2020, the photo project "Living Seas of the Russian Arctic" will be launched on Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow.

The exhibition is represented by the "Golden Turtle" International Wildlife Festival and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The photo project is supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia and the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection of Moscow.

The project aims to draw attention to the topic of marine protected areas of Russia. The project is designed to show the beauty and abundance of the Arctic seas wildlife and the importance of their development. The photographs showcase rare flora and fauna of such unique territories as the Gyda Nature Reserve, the "Russian Arctic" National Park, the Laptev Sea Marine Protected Area, the "Wrangel Island", "Nenetsky" and "Medvezhy" Islands Nature Reserves.

The exhibition provides an opportunity to "visit" the wonderful and inaccessible corners of the Russian Arctic: the Severnaya Zemlya and Franz Josef Land archipelagoes, the coasts of Chukotka and Taimyr.

The photo project "Living Seas of the Russian Arctic" features 64 photographs from the best world-famous photographers on the topic of the Arctic marine fauna.

The exhibition runs in the very centre of Moscow on Tverskoy Boulevard from September 14 to October 31, 2020.
