Marking the Year of Science and Technology: Virtual Hypermuseum NAUKA 0+ launched

1 March 2021

A virtual Hypermuseum of Science was launched as part of the Year of Science and Technology. The NAUKA 0+ Hypermuseum's website promotes the latest discoveries and achievements in all fields of science and technology. The interactive format allows not only learning about science but also comprehending its variety - from the nano to cosmic technology. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia with the support of Moscow State University, the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow Government as part of the Year of Science and Technology.

A thermonuclear reactor, a human heart, crystal latitudes of materials under high pressure, Paleolithic caves - this all is available on the digital website museum.festivalnauki.ru. The halls of the virtual museum display phenomena of various scales. The exhibits and sections are connected by cross-links, which provide the opportunity to directly get from one field of science to another or look at the same object from different sides. A large number of hyperlinks that connect various phenomena with each other gave the museum its name. The website will be improved with new content and developed according to current changes and the users' feedback.
