History of Russia: Moscow to host the International Forum "History for the Future. Alexander Nevsky"

On June 8, 2021, on the eve of Russia Day, the Museum of the Patriotic War of 1812, the branch of the State Historical Museum (Moscow), hosts the International Forum "History for the Future. Alexander Nevsky". The organizer of the Forum is the Russian Military Historical Society.

Its guests are prominent scientists and politicians, educators, opinion makers, including foreign participants from Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Cyprus.

The Forum aims to establish a dialogue between speakers and guests and involve young listeners in the discussion. The discussion platforms will host debates about approaches to the study and popularization of Alexander Nevsky's image.

The Forum will discuss various issues about the study and popularization of history and the preservation of the memory of Alexander Nevsky as a symbol of Russian statehood. He is the defender of the Fatherland, a wise diplomat and an Orthodox saint at the same time.
