World Culture: Exhibition " The Great Art of the Dutch Golden Age Painting" presented in Vladivostok

The Primorye State Art Gallery (Vladivostok) hosts an exhibition "The Great Art of the Dutch Golden Age Painting", which showcases the canvases from the museum collections.

The exhibition introduces almost all genres of excellent Dutch painting of the XVII century: portrait, landscape, battles and everyday scenes. The art of this period is distinguished by vivid realism, the desire of artists to convey the unique character of the life of the Dutch people, who created the world's first bourgeois state.

A relatively small collection of Dutch artists of the Primorye State Art Gallery allows getting a comprehensive idea of the peculiarities and originality of Dutch art in the XVII and XVIII centuries.

The exhibition will run until October 10.
