History of Moscow: Exhibition illustrating Moscow in the second quarter of the XIX century to hold in the capital

Moscow hosts the exhibition "You Rose Unbroken from the Ashes...". Moscow Capital City in the Second Quarter of the XIX Century". It presents items from the collections of the Museum-Panorama "Battle of Borodino", the Moscow Gogol House and the "Kuznechnaya Sloboda" Museum (Kolomna).

The exposition features fragments of interior decor and household items of a typical merchant mansion of the 1830s – 1840s. An interior of a Moscow house of that era could comprise a table clock, a tea set, a writing set, and a travel bureau.

The exhibition will run at the Museum-Panorama "Battle of Borodino" until January 30, 2022.
