IT and security: “Lesson of a Digit” dedicated to ways to protect against cyber threats held in Russian schools

Russian schoolchildren will be told about cyber threats, as well as ways to protect themselves from them, as part of the educational project “Lesson of a Digit”. The event is held with the support of the Ministry of Education from January 17 to February 6, 2022.

Schoolchildren will be told about research on cyber threats, methods of protection, as well as safe behavior on the Internet and much more.

Students will play the role of a detective and investigate a cyberattack on a bank based on real events. Students will also learn about the work of IT security specialists. One has opportunity to take the lesson on his own. For this a video lecture and special simulators are posted on the website.
