From January 25 to January 30, 2022, the Bazhov Days festival is held in the Literary Quarter of Yekaterinburg and in the homeland of Pavel Petrovich Bazhov in Sysert. In 2022, it is dedicated to the 143rd anniversary of the birth of Pavel Bazhov, who was born on January 27, and the 130th anniversary of his wife, Valentina Bazhova, who was born on January 25.

At the festival, a bust of the author of "Ural Tales" will be unveiled and theatrical excursions to the mining estate of the 19th century in Bazhov's native Sysert, as well as a thematic tour in Yekaterinburg will be arranged. A presentation of a collection of comics based on Bazhov's stories and an exhibition of literary and artistic works inspired by the writer's work are planned.
