Museums of Russia: The national centre of writer Victor Astafyev to be founded in Krasnoyarsk Territory

The national centre of writer Victor Astafyev will be founded in the Astafyev Memorial Complex in Ovsyanka village (Krasnoyarsk Territory).

«The upcoming Astafyev national centre is set to become a platform for organizing exhibitions, cultural and educational events, a place of leisure and rest for visitors to the museum complex», the statement on the website of the local government says.

The total area of the three-storey modern building with an underground floor will be over two thousand square meters.

The concept of the centre has already been prepared. The project documentation for construction is currently in the works.

The main stage of the construction is planned for year 2023. The national centre should be open for visitors on May 1, 2024, marking the 100th anniversary of the front-line writer.
