Society and reading: Events marking the works of Jack London take place in St. Petersburg

19 to 25 December 2011 in St. Petersburg libraries are held the events devoted to the works of Jack London. “Life as a legend” is a joint program of the Consulate General of the USA in St. Petersburg and the M. Yu. Lermontov Inter-district Centralized Library system. The program is intended to support and develop interest to one of the most popular American authors.

From 19 December in the M. Yu. Lermontov Inter-district Centralized Library system, as well as in libraries of the Nevsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Primorsky districts are held films and lectures, opening of  exhibitions, contests and other events.
